Homebuyers Assistance and Improvement Act

Wednesday night the Senate approved by unanimous consent HR 5569. This bill extends the authorization of the National Flood Insurance Program until September 30, 2010. The Senate also approved HR 5623 the Homebuyers Assistance and Improvement Act which extends the closing date for the Home Buyers tax credit through September 30, 2010. The President is expected to sign both of these bills.
